PAPER

My childhood dreams were of running a sweet shop or working in a library, this wasn't about confectionary or even reading it was born from a love of paper: the touch, the sound different textures would make, the weight in my hand, and all the possibilities this humble material holds. From flicking through the pages of a book, the way the words sit on the page to the crinkly Sweet Shop greaseproof paper bags. I have been hooked ever since.

Collage was the ideal way for me to explore paper as a medium during my early year as an Art Student & beyond, Illustrating for magazines then Designing Logos for print.

Creating vessels from Paper was born out of necessity during the first lockdown when their was a shortage of clay. I sold my first collection of Paper Mache Vessels through Unpolished Space. I have hosted workshops for Toast & now you can join me for a workshop with Still life Drawing in February 25.
